Know The Signs Of A Threatening Or Frightened Dog
A frightened dog:- Makes itself look smaller by crouching down
- Has its ears back and its tail curled under its legs
- Snarls, shows its teeth
A threatening dog:- Tail is raised
- Tries to make itself look bigger by standing on the tips of its paws with hair on back (hackles) raised
- Snarls, shows its teeth.
Note: if you see a dog that appears threatening or frightened, keep away.
